The Jackson Group of Peterbilt stores has received Peterbilt’s highest dealer of the year awards for the last 6 out of 7 years including Peterbilt’s highest award “North American Dealer of the Year” for 2008. This award consists of several measurements by Peterbilt in key performance areas such as market share, market growth, parts, service, sales, and customer service. Jackson Group Peterbilt, a 200+ million per year group of Peterbilt dealerships is owned by Eric Jackson and Blake Jackson who employ over 200 people as a full services distributor of heavy duty trucks, parts, and service centers with dealerships in Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and Nevada. Blake Jackson started in the industry by working for his father, Eric Jackson, at a young age. Eric purchased his first franchise in July 1977, a GMC store in Salt Lake City, where Blake began picking weeds at the age of 10. Under Eric’s direction, the small GMC operation later expanded into multiple Peterbilt heavy truck franchises. Blake purchased his first Peterbilt store in Boise, Idaho in 2003 while also managing the Idaho Falls operations. In 2006, Blake and Eric formed the Jackson Group by combining their multiple dealerships and Blake took the helm. In accepting the North American Dealer of the Year award, Blake recognized that the achievement is largely credited to his great employees, a fantastic franchise and the early start and thorough education he received from his father. When Blake received the award, he was regarded as “an example of what dedication, vision and commitment to Peterbilt can achieve”, by Peterbilt Motors General Manager Bill Jackson. The Jackson Group Peterbilt of dealerships have also received multiple Platinum Oval awards, a highly coveted award from Peterbilt recognizing top sales, service and performance excellence in the industry. Peterbilt Motor Company, based of out Denton Texas is recognized as the premiere truck builder in the US. Since its inception in 1939, Peterbilt has been known for its classic, custom engineered trucks, receiving many JD Powers awards for its innovation and quality. |
